ACT IN VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION OF ARTICLE 14B OR RULES
AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED PURSUANT THERETO GENERALLY
KNOWN AS THE "STATE BOAT ACT" AND EXCEPT FOR THE
OFFENSES SPECIFICALLY ENUMERATED IN ARTICLE 26, SECTION
70-2 (D) (2).

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this act shall take
effect July 1, 1973, and shall apply to all offenses committed on and after July 1,
1973.

CHAPTER 130
(House Bill 115)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 335 of Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume, 1972
Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," to
increase the minimum size for the possession, sale, or transportation of lobsters.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Section 335 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume, 1972 Supplement), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

335.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to possess, sell or offer
to sell or transport any [[spawning]] EGG BEARING OR SCRAPED lobster or
any lobster measuring less than [3-1/8] 3-3/16 inches from the rear end of the eye
socket along a line parallel to the center line of the body shell (carapace) to the
rear of such body shell (carapace).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 131
(House Bill 119)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 of Article 45 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title "Husband and
Wife"; to add new Section 128(e) to Article 83 of the Code (1969 Replacement
Volume), title "Sales and Notices," subtitle "Retail Installment Sales," to
follow immediately after Section 128(d) thereof; and to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 153C(b) of the same Article and title, subtitle "Retail
Credit Accounts Law," to forbid discrimination against certain persons in
certain financial relationships because of the sex or marital status of the
