EXECUTIVE ORDER OF JUNE 5, 1969
COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS

WHEREAS, I have heretofore appointed a Council made up of three persons to
advise me on economic matters; and

WHEREAS, a need exists to have a permanent Council to advise the Governor
with respect to matters affecting the economy of the State of Maryland;

NOW THEREFORE, I MARVIN MANDEL, BY VIRTUE OF THE
AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, ON THIS DATE, HEREBY PROMULGATE THE
FOLLOWING EXECUTIVE ORDER:

There is established, effective as of the date of this order, the Governor's Council
of Economic Advisors which shall be an agency of the Executive Branch of the
