1748                                     LAWS OF MARYLAND                                 Ch. 854

BEVERAGES FOR AND DURING THE LICENSE PERIOD; [(v)] (VI) has
an applicant for the license who has, or applicants who have, been a bona fide
resident or residents of Harford County for not less than two years immediately
preceding the filing of the application, and who has or have been a registered voter
or voters of Harford County for not less than one year immediately preceding the
filing of the application. [[This license in a restaurant does permit sale at bars or
counters but not for consumption anywhere except inside the building. ]]

57.

(g) In Harford County [the liquor control board shall have power to waive the
two years residence requirement contained in §56 hereinabove in any case in which
a person applying for the transfer of a license of a going business is the bona fide
purchaser and proprietor thereof if said person can submit to the satisfaction of the
board proper persons who know him and can vouch for his good character or if he
can submit other evidence that he is a fit and proper person to hold the said
license. The board also is authorized and empowered to waive the two years
residence requirement in the case of persons who have owned the land or building
for said two-year period on which or in which the licensed premises are located. In
any such case provided for in this subsection, the liquor control board of Harford
County is authorized and empowered to approve a license under this article to a
person or persons who have not actually resided within Harford County for said
two-year period.] ANY PERSON WHO APPLIES FOR A LICENSE UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF §56 SHALL BE A BONA FIDE RESIDENT AND
REGISTERED VOTER OF HARFORD COUNTY.

69.

(e) In Harford County it shall be the duty of the liquor control board to make
or have frequent inspections made of the premises of all licensees; and, if it is
found that any such licensee is violating any of the provisions of this article, or the
regulations promulgated hereunder, or is failing to observe in good faith the
purposes thereof, or is not maintaining the premises in a clean, sanitary manner,
the board shall, in its discretion, after a public hearing, revoke or suspend the said
license; and such cases shall be reported to the State's Attorney and the Sheriff of
Harford County; and it shall be the duty of said Sheriff and said State's Attorney
to prosecute such licensee under the provisions of this article. The said board shall
also revoke or suspend, in their discretion, and after public hearing the license of
any licensee, on whose premises any gambling devices are found, which are illegal
under the laws of the State of Maryland, or any illegal gambling of any character
found, or any alcoholic beverage found, other than beer and wine of legal
content[.], OR IF THE LICENSEE HAS BEEN CONVICTED IN FEDERAL
OR STATE COURT OF A FELONY.

Whenever any on-sale licensee operates a pool or billiard parlor on premises
licensed hereunder, he shall not permit minors under 18 years of age to enter into
or loiter about that part of the premises devoted to the playing of pool or billiards
unless accompanied by a parent. A violation of this prohibition shall empower the
said board in its discretion, to revoke or suspend the license of said on-sale licensee
after a public hearing.

99.

In Harford County, notwithstanding any other provision of this subtitle,
licensees, under this article shall only sell, offer for sale, or dispense the beverages
defined in this article, between the hours of 8 o'clock a.m. and 1 o'clock a.m. on
[[weekdays, INCLUDING THE HOURS FROM SATURDAY MIDNIGHT
TO 1 O'CLOCK A.M. ON SUNDAY ]] ON MONDAY THROUGH
