THURSDAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 O'CLOCK A.M. ON FRIDAY
TO 2 O'CLOCK A.M. ON SATURDAY, AND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
8 O'CLOCK A.M. ON SATURDAY TO 2 O'CLOCK A.M. ON SUNDAY, and
shall not sell such beverages during any other hours or at any time on Sundays
unless that Sunday is New Year's Day. No beer or light wine shall be permitted to
be drunk on the premises of a licensee after fifteen (15) minutes following the
closing hours prescribed in this section except that any restaurant, hotel or private
club holding a beer, wine or other alcoholic beverage license as provided in
§§20(h-2), 14(g)(l), 13(H), 14(G)(2) and 19(f-2) of Article 2B may serve those
alcoholic beverages during the hours of 1 o'clock p.m. and 10 o'clock p.m. on
Sunday. Whenever New Year's Eve falls on Saturday those licensees may sell their
beverages and remain open for two hours past midnight, and if New Year's Eve
falls on a Sunday those licensees may open at 1 o'clock p.m. and close at two
hours past midnight as noted in §§89 and 90 of this article.

(b)    The liquor control board also shall be authorized to borrow money from
time to time from any banking institution, on it own credit. Provided, that the
aggregate sum advanced to and/or borrowed by the liquor control board shall at
no time exceed $5,000.00 in Somerset County, [$10,000.00] $75,000.00 in Harford
County, $20,000.00 in Kent County, $25,000.00 in Wicomico County and
$100,000.00 in Worcester County.

(c)    All sums of moneys advanced to the liquor control board by the county
commissioners, and all sums borrowed by the county commissioners or the liquor
control board for the purposes of this subtitle, shall bear interest at the lowest rate
possible, not exceeding six per centum per annum [.), EXCEPT THAT IN
HARFORD COUNTY THE INTEREST RATE [[SHALL BE]] [[MAY NOT
EXCEED THE CURRENT LEGALLY PREVAILING INTEREST RATE]]
LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY. All such sums advanced or borrowed,
together with the interest thereon, shall be repaid from the receipts from sales
made at the county liquor dispensary, and/or branch dispensaries.

165.

(c) The liquor control board shall keep separate accounts of the operations
conducted at each dispensary which shall show the gross revenue of each
dispensary and also the net revenue derived therefrom. After setting aside at each
dispensary the necessary reserve for the proper conduct thereof, the board shall, as
often as it may deem to the best interests of the county or municipal corporation
interested, and at least semiannually, make a distribution of the net proceeds as
follows: to the towns of Aberdeen and Bel Air and to the City of Havre de Grace,
one half of the net proceeds from the liquor dispensaries located within the
corporate limits or within one mile of the corporate limits of the municipality
where located to be used by the county or municipal corporation for debt service,
operating expenses or for whatever other purposes may be deemed best. The
balance of the net proceeds from those dispensaries and all the proceeds of other
dispensaries shall be distributed to [the] Harford County [metropolitan
commission].

126.

(E) IN HARFORD COUNTY IT SHALL BE LAWFUL FOR ANY
LICENSEE UNDER THIS ARTICLE TO EMPLOY ANY PERSON 18
YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF
EMPLOYMENT INCLUDING SELLING OR SERVING ALCOHOLIC
