SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 53(1) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", subtitle "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follow:;:

53.

(1) The number of licenses of each class of alcoholic beverages licenses in Prince
George's County shall not exceed the following maximum amounts:

Beer license, Class A.......................... [26]    27

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(House Bill 1618)

AN ACT to add new Section 70-72A to the Montgomery County Code 1965, as
amended, being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and
new Section 59-66A to the Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1963
Edition, as amended), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, titles "Montgomery County" and "Prince George's County," both
subtitled "Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission," to
follow immediately after Sections 70-72 and 59-66 of the respective County
Codes, to authorize the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission upon request of the Board of Trustees to recommend to the Board
of Trustees of the Montgomery Community College real property sites
appropriate for acquisition by the Board which conform as far as practicable to
development plans for land use in the county.
