(c) Every school bus driver shall put in operation flashing red stoplights not less
than 100 feet before bringing the bus to a full stop for the purpose of receiving or
discharging any school child or children or school teacher or school teachers OR
WHEN A FOLLOWING SCHOOL BUS STOPS WITHIN ONE HUNDRED
FEET BEHIND A SCHOOL BUS IN THE ACT OF LOADING OR
UNLOADING ANY SCHOOL CHILD OR CHILDREN OR SCHOOL
TEACHER OR SCHOOL TEACHERS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(House Bill 933)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9A(h) of Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Revenue and
Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed and Where," to include after "poultry,"
"hatchery eggs" within the personal property tax exemptions from certain
assessments.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 9A(h) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be
Taxed and Where," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
9A.
(h) The following agricultural products and commodities: crops or the produce
of any land in the possession of the producer or his agent; fish while in the
possession of persons employed to catch, salt and pack them, or while in the
possession of agents until sold; poultry, INCLUDING HATCHERY EGGS;
tobacco stored in the State tobacco warehouse; and green coffee beans imported from
foreign countries while in the possession of and owned by the importer as long as no
physical or chemical change has been made by any manufacturing process in such
beans and regardless of whether they are in their original packages.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this act shall take effect
July 1, 1973.
