"Procedure Before Commission," to provide that fees for the cali-
bration of master standard watt-hour meters shall be set annually
by the Commission in consideration of expenses.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 88(e) of Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Public Service Commission
Law," subtitle "Procedure Before Commission," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
88(e).
The Commission shall maintain testing equipment for the pur-
pose of calibrating master standard watt-hour meters used by pub-
lic service companies furnishing electricity. [Such companies using
this service shall pay to the Commission a fee of five dollars
($5.00) per test point, with a minimum charge of forty dollars
($40.00) per master standard watt-hour meter.] Such companies
using this service shall pay to the Commission the fees fixed from
time to time by order of the Commission. In setting such fees
the Commission shall give consideration to its estimated expenses
associated with maintaining the testing equipment.
Sec. 2. And be further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 488)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 130B of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1968 Replacement
Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Horse
Riding and Rental Stables," to increase the license fee charged by
the State Board of Inspection of Horse Riding Stables for certain
horse riding stables.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 130B of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Licenses,"
subtitle "Horse Riding and Rental Stables," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
130B.
All applications for licenses shall be filed with the Board. The fee
for [all licenses shall be five dollars ($5.00) per year] a license for
any horse riding stable where five (5) or less horses are maintained
for rental purposes shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per year and for all
other horse riding stables shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per
year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.
