(g) The Council is empowered to apply for and accept grants
from the State, County or federal governments, pending approval
of the County Commissioners.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 1451)
AN ACT to add new Section 74(h) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Rights and Duties of Licensees," to follow
immediately after Section 74(g) thereof, to provide in St. Mary's
County for a certain fee for assignment or transfer of any alcoholic
beverages license.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 74(h) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Rights and Duties of Licensees," to
follow immediately after Section 74(g) thereof, and to read as fol-
lows:

(h) In St. Mary's County, the fee for assignment or transfer of
any alcoholic beverages license is $35.00.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40(s)
of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Supple-
ment), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle
"State's Attorneys," relating generally to the salary of the assist-
ant State's attorney of St. Mary's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
