The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County may enter into
agreements with Charles and Calvert Counties for the transportation
of children attending parochial and private schools provided that
Charles and Calvert Counties enact reciprocal agreements.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 751)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 22(g) of
Article 1A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume) title "Aeronautics," subtitle "General Provisions," to pro-
vide an exemption from registration fees for certain aircraft, based
upon a certain condition.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 22(g) of Article 1A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Aeronautics," subtitle "General
Provisions," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
22.
(g) The provisions of this section shall not apply to the following:
(1) Public Aircraft. Any aircraft owned by a State or political
subdivision thereof, or any aircraft of the United States government.
(2) Nonresident Aircraft. Any aircraft having an habitual situs
or permanent base in another state, provided the registration require-
ments of such state have been complied with, with respect to such air-
craft. Upon removal of the habitual situs or permanent base of such
aircraft to the State of Maryland, such aircraft may be operated in
this State for a period of thirty days without compliance with the
other provisions of this section, and no longer. Nothing herein shall
exempt aircraft engaged in dusting or spraying within this State
(regardless of their situs or base) from the registration requirements
of this section.
(3) Military and Foreign Aircraft. Military aircraft of the United
States government or any aircraft licensed by a foreign country with
which the United States has reciprocal relations; provided, however
that such aircraft shall not be engaged in any commercial activity
within this State.
(4) Interstate and Foreign Commerce. Any aircraft owned or
operated by an air carrier certified by or operating pursuant to exemp-
tion authority from the Civil Aeronautics Board for carrying of pas-
sengers, cargo or mail in interstate or foreign commerce.
