subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after
Section 40 thereof, as last amended by Chapter 144 of the Acts of
1971, to provide that the County Commissioners shall appoint an
Airport Committee and generally relating thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 40A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1971 Supplement, being Article
19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's
County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately
after Section 40 thereof, as last amended by Chapter 144 of the Acts
of 1971 and to read as follows:

The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint an Airport
Committee consisting of seven (7) members, one (1) of whom
shall be a County Commissioner. Two (2) of the members shall serve
for a period of one (1) year; two (2) members shall serve for a
period of two (2) years; two (2) members shall serve for a period
of three (3) years and thereafter appointed for three (3) year terms.
The County Commissioners shall name the Chairman. The County
Commissioners shall fill vacancies as terms expire, for a three (3)
year term, and vacancies occurring from other causes shall be filled
for the unexpired term.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to add new Section 46B to the Code of Public Local Laws
of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, 1971 Supplement, being Arti-
cle 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St.
Mary's County," subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow im-
mediately after Section 46A thereof, as last amended by Chapter
450 of the Acts of 1971; to enable the County Commissioners in
St. Mary's County to enter into agreements with Charles and
Calvert Counties for transportation of school children, and gen-
erally relating thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, 1971 Supple-
ment, being Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
