petition shall be filed with the State Board of Law Examiners.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1 through 4, inclusive, of Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County (1970 Edition,
being Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Washington County," subtitle "Billiards," in Washington
County to remove all of those provisions of the Washington County
Code of Public Local Laws relating generally to billiards.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1 through 4, inclusive, of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Washington County (1970 Edition, being Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Washington
County," subtitle "Billiards," be and they are hereby repealed.
[2-1. Disorderly conduct prohibited.
Every room or place in Washington County used or occupied for
the exercise or engaging in the games of pool, billiards, or bowling
to which the public has access and at which charges are made for
the privilege of engaging therein shall be conducted at all times in
an orderly, decent manner, and it shall be unlawful for the pro-
prietor or person in charge of the same to permit any disorderly
conduct, swearing or use of indecent or improper language therein
by any person or persons on, in, or about the premises where such
games are conducted.
2-2. Hours for establishments to be closed.
All places as aforesaid used or occupied for the purpose of en-
gaging in the games of pool, billiards, or bowling to which the
public shall have access and at which charges are made for the
privilege of engaging therein shall be kept closed as a place of busi-
ness from hours of 12 P.M. to 6 A.M. of each night in the week,
and it shall be unlawful for any place or places aforesaid to be kept
open during the hours above mentioned.
2-3. Persons under 16 prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for the proprietor or person in charge of any
place or places as aforesaid, used or occupied for the purpose of
engaging in the games of pool, billiards, or bowling to which the
public shall have access and at which charges are made for the
privilege of engaging therein, to permit, suffer or allow any person
or persons under the age of sixteen (16) years to loiter in, on or
