about the premises where such games as above mentioned are con-
ducted, or engage in or participate in any manner in the conduct of
any of such games or witness the participation therein of others
who may lawfully be on the said premises.
2-4. Penalties.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation, whether proprietor
or person in charge of any pool or billiard room or bowling alley in
any place in Washington County who shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this subtitle shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine of not less than
fifteen dollars ($15.00) nor more than one hundred ($100.00)
dollars.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 151
(House Bill 634)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2-108 (n)
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Decedents' Estates," subtitle "The Court,"
subheading "The Probate Court," providing for an expense allow-
ance and the payment of an expense allowance for judges of
the Orphans' Court for Howard County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2-108(n) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Decedents' Estates,"
subtitle "The Court," subheading "The Probate Court," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
2-108.
(n) Each judge of the court for Howard County shall receive
compensation in the amount of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200)
per year, to be paid monthly. Each judge shall also receive an
expense allowance, in addition, up to fifty dollars ($50.00) per
months MONTH, for personal expenses incidental to his duties, to be
paid by the Treasurer of Howard County each month upon presenta-
tion of an itemized voucher.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.
