450                                 Laws of Maryland                        [Ch. 149

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,,
That new Section 126B be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Worcester County (1968 Supplement,
being Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Worcester County," subtitle "Circuit Court," to follow immediately
after Section 126A thereof, and to read as follows:

126B.

No plat shall be received for record by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Worcester County unless the plat is drawn accurately
to scale, is made on a good quality of drawing linen, or is a blue
print or blue or black line print on linen, and shall not exceed
twenty-four inches (24") in length by eighteen inches (18") in width.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 149
(House Bill 617)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of
Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact," sub-
title "Admission to the Bar," to change the number of years an
attorney must be a member of the bar in order to be a member
of the State Board of Law Examiners; and to clarify the language
therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys
in Fact," subtitle "Admission to the Bar," be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

2.

A State Board of Law Examiners is hereby created, to consist of
three members of the bar of at least [ten] five years' standing, who
shall be appointed by the Court of Appeals, and shall hold office for
the term of three years. [Said] The examiners shall hold office for
one, two and three years, respectively, to be designated by the judges
of the Court of Appeals. After the first appointment the Court of
Appeals shall annually appoint a member of [said] the Board
in the place of the examiner whose term shall expire. Members of
[said] the Board shall be eligible to reappointment. In case of any va-
cancy in [said] the Board by reason of death, resignation or other-
wise, the Court of Appeals shall fill [said] the vacancy by the appoint-
ment of a member of [said] the Board to serve until the expira-
tion of the term for which the person so dying or resigning has been
appointed. All applications for admission to the bar in this State
