Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 104
(Senate Bill 652)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 191 (b)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in the
Counties," to change the annual expiration date of dog licenses
issued in Carroll County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 191 (b) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume), title "Licenses," subtitle
"Dog Licenses in the Counties," be and is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:
191.
(b) In Carroll County the fees for [dogs] dog licenses shall be
determined by the County Commissioners. [of said county, and all
licenses issued aforesaid shall expire on December 31st of the year
in which they were issued and shall be renewed annually.] Beginning
with the year 1973 and each year thereafter all dog licenses will
expire on June 30. Any license [issued under the provisions of this
section as of July 1, 1959, shall be valid until December 31, 1960.]
valid on the effective date of this Act shall remain valid through
June 30, 1973.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

of Article 80 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Reporter—State," and to repeal Section 46C
of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Clerks of Courts,"
subtitle "Clerk of Court of Special Appeals," providing for the
State Reporter to prepare for publication opinions of the Court
