the maximum rate of compensation for expenses of the judges
of the Orphan's Court in Dorchester County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2-108 (j) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Decedents' Estates,"
subtitle "Subtitle II. The Court," subheading "Part 1. The Probate
Court," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
2-108.
(j) Each of the judges of the court for Dorchester County shall
receive an annual salary in the amount of nine hundred dollars
($900). Each judge shall also receive an allowance of [six] ten
dollars [($6)] ($10) for [mileage] expenses for every day's attend-
ance upon the sessions of the court.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 102
(Senate Bill 645)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 521 (f)
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replace-
ment Volume), title and subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," sub-
heading "Sabbath Breaking," to change the number of persons
who may be employed in certain establishments in Allegany
County on Sundays.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 521 (f) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title and subtitle "Crimes
and Punishments," subheading "Sabbath Breaking," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
521.
(f) In Allegany County this section shall not apply to or prohibit
retail sales on any Sunday by:
(1) Food stores, drugstores, bakery or baked goods stores, news-
stands, selling and/or delivering newspapers and periodicals, gasoline
service stations, nurseries or shops selling flowers and plants, or
roadside vending stands selling fruits, vegetables, or plants and
flowers; provided that, for the entire time during which any such
retail establishment is open on any Sunday, not more than [three]
four persons, including any owner, manager, assistant manager, or
delivery personnel, are employed by the retail establishment or
working therein, regardless of the number of leased departments,
concession areas, booths, or stalls located therein; and
