"Article V—Larceny—Dogs or Pets."
"Section 3-59. Dogs and Pets; Larceny.

"Every person who shall steal, entice, take or carry away any dog or
other pet, as denned in Section 3-1 of this Chapter, the property of another
without the owner's consent and with the intent to deprive the owner
permanently of his property in such dog or other pet shall be guilty of
the crime of larceny, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished in the
same manner and to the same extent as if said dog or other pet were the
personal goods of the owner thereof, and as hereinafter provided.

"Section 3-60. Same; Penalty.

"Every person convicted of a violation of this Article shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be subject to a fine of from One ($1)
to Five Hundred Dollars ($500) and imprisonment from one (1) to ninety
(90) days or both. Any such fine as collected shall be remitted to the
owner of such dog or other pet."

Section 3. And be it further enacted that this Act shall take effect
forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of its adoption.

Adopted this 29th day of November, 1971.

A BILL ENTITLED

An Act to repeal Chapter 535, Acts of the General Assembly, 1969,
being Section 18-4B, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, relating to the public notice required to be given
prior to the sale of Prince George's County bonds.

Be it enacted by the County Council for Prince George's County, that
Section 18-4B of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County,
as hereinafter set forth, be, and it is hereby repealed.

[Section 18-4B. Public notice prior to sale of bonds.

The County Commissioners shall give public notice prior to taking
any action which may result in the sale of Prince George's County bonds.
