2690                                  County Local Laws

No person may deposit, in any part of a County Forest or Park, any
garbage, sewer, refuse, waste, foodstuffs, paper, or other litter or obnoxious
material, except in receptacles or pits provided for the purpose.

No glass or crockery containers allowed on beaches or swimming
areas at any time.

(m) Damage to Public Property

No person may injure, deface, disturb, or befoul any part of a County
Park, or any building, sign, equipment, or other public property therein;
or, except under permit to remove or destroy any tree, flower, fern, shrub,
rock or other plant or mineral.

(n) Gambling and Intoxicants

Gambling, games of chance, fortune telling within County Parks are
prohibited, and no person while in a County Park shall use or operate any
slot machine or have in his possession any implement or device commonly
used or intended to be used for gambling purposes.

No minors are allowed to transport or possess intoxicating beverages
in any County Park.

(o) Personal Conduct

No person may do any obscene or indecent act; throw stones or other
missles; annoy people, interfere with, encumber, obstruct or render danger-

ous any drive, path, walk, dock, beach or public place; do any act that

tends or amounts to a breach of the peace; climb upon any structure; enter

or leave a park except at established entrance ways or exits; engage in,
'

instigate, and/or encourage a contention or fight, or assault a person.

Every order of a Park Official must be properly obeyed.

1.   NO PERSON MAY DO ANY ACT THAT IS OBSCENE OR IN-
DECENT.

2.   NO PERSON MAY INTERFERE WITH, ENCUMBER, OB-
STRUCT, OR RENDER DANGEROUS ANY DRIVE, PATH, WALK,
DOCK, BEACH, OR PUBLIC PLACE.

3.   NO PERSON MAY DO ANY ACT THAT AMOUNTS TO A
BREACH OF THE PEACE.

4.   NO PERSON SHALL ENTER OR LEAVE A PARK EXCEPT
AT ESTABLISHED ENTRANCES OR EXITS.

5.   ALL PERSONS ARE TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A REA-
SONABLE AND LAWFUL MANNER.

6.   EVERY LAWFUL ORDER OF A PARK OFFICIAL MUST BE
OBEYED.

(p) Traffic and Parking

1.  The use of County Park roads is subject to the regulation of the
Department of Recreation and Parks and such roads may be closed to
traffic whenever such action is deemed necessary.

2.  Instructions from a Park Official, by gesture or otherwise, to reduce
the speed of a vehicle, to bring it to a stop, or to alter its direction, must
immediately be obeyed by the driver concerned.

3. The interior of every car driven or parked on County Parks must
at all times be fully open to view.
