2554                            County Local Laws

Whereas, By virtue of Bills Nos. 2-70, 18-70, 20-70, 38-70, 39-70,
44-70, 53-70, 54-70, 86-70, 93-70, 94-70, 134-70, 7-71, 8-71, 13-71,
16-71, 17-71 and 41-71, the County Council of Anne Arundel County,
Maryland, has adopted Subtitle 3, "Zoning Regulations", of Title
13, "Planning and Zoning", of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements); and

Whereas, At the time of the adoption of said bills, it had been
intended that said Subtitle should become effective on a County-wide
basis, only after the entire Subtitle and all comprehensive zoning
maps shall have been adopted and the existing zoning laws and maps
repealed; and

Whereas, Certain technical problems relating to the implementa-
tion of said Subtitle have made it desirable for the new zoning
regulations and maps to become effective on a district-by-district
basis, as said comprehensive zoning maps are adopted in each
Assessment District.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland,,
That the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for the First
Assessment District; (BEING Nos. 26 L, R and S only that part con-
taining OF 26 R AND S LYING WITHIN the First Assessment
District; 27 K through U, inclusive, only that part containing OF
27 K THROUGH U, INCLUSIVE, LYING WITHIN Assessment
District 1; 28 K through U, inclusive, and that part of 28 V con-
taining LYING WITHIN the First Assessment District; 29 K
through V, inclusive; THAT PART OF 29 W LYING WITHIN THE
FIRST ASSESSMENT DISTRICT; 29 K through X V, inclusive;
THAT PART OF 30 W AND X LYING WITHIN THE FIRST
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT; 31 L through X W, inclusive; THAT
PART OF 31 X LYING WITHIN THE FIRST ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT; 32 L through X, inclusive; 33 L THROUGH X, IN-
CLUSIVE; 34 L K through W, inclusive; 35 K through V T,
inclusive; THAT PART OF 35 U AND V LYING WITHIN THE
FIRST ASSESSMENT DISTRICT; 36 L through T, inclusive, and
36 K, 36 U only that part containing OF 36 K AND 36 U LYING
WITHIN THE First Assessment District; 37 M through R, inclu-
sive, and 36 K, 37 L, 37 S, 37 T, 37 U containing THAT PART OF

37  K, 37 L, 37 S, 37 T AND 37 U LYING WITHIN THE First
Assessment District; 38 K; 38 N, inclusive, and 38 K, 38L, 38 M,
38 O, 38 P, 38 Q, 38 R, 38 S only that part containing OF 38 L,

38  M, 38 O, 38 P, 38 Q, 38 R and 38 S LYING WITHIN THE First
Assessment District; 39 M, N and O only that part containing OF

39  M, N, O, P AND Q LYING WITHIN THE First Assessment
District, ALL AS prepared by John E. Harms, Jr. and Associates,
which maps are being introduced simultaneously herewith,) be and
they are hereby approved and adopted, as HEREINAFTER amended.

(A) MAP NOS. 30 L AND 30 M BE, AND THEY ARE
HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS, SAID AMENDMENT BEING
DESIGNATED ON SAID MAPS AS "(A-l)":
