brackish water, swamps, bogs, marshes, streams, vernal ponds, ponds,
lakes, and all lands within the coastal floodplain.

[(5)] (4) "Regional Recreation" shall include recreational
facilities used to a great extent by people living in all parts of Anne
Arundel County.

(5) "Subdivision Recreation" shall include recreational facil-
ities and/or land primarily used by residents living within a recorded
subdivision.

Section 13-318.

(d)    [The below listed uses shall be approved by the Office of
Planning and Zoning, in addition to the agencies indicated below:

(1)    The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works
shall approve uses in the Natural Drainage System.

(2)    The Anne Arundel County Health Department and the
Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation shall
approve recreational uses.

(e)] Structures in OS-Open Space Districts shall not obstruct
the free flow of water, and shall be firmly anchored to prevent
floating away or the blockage of openings in restricted sections of
the water course below.

Section 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section 13-318
(e) be and it is hereby added to the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 13, "Planning and Zoning",
Subtitle 3, "Zoning Regulations", Article VI, "Special Districts",
Heading, "OS-Open Space Districts", to follow immediately below
Section 13-318 (d) (as repealed and re-enacted by Section 1 hereof),
to read as follows:

Section 13-318.

(e)    The below listed uses shall be permitted subject to the
approval, where applicable, of the following agencies:

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, The Soil Con-
servation Service, Anne Arundel County, Department of Public
Works, Health Department and Department of Parks and
Recreation.

Section 3. And be it further enacted, That Section 13-318.1 of
said Code, Title, Subtitle, Article and Heading be and it is hereby
repealed, and that new Section 13-318.1 be and it is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the Section repealed, to read
as follows:

Section 13-318.1. Uses Permitted.

(1)    Conservation Uses, PRACTICES and Structures for the
maintenance of the natural environment.

(2)    Existing Residential Uses.
