(b) The following charges are hereby established for the dis-
posal of solid wastes at Anne Arundel County owned and operated
Sanitary Landfills where weighing scales are available:

Passenger vehicles ..............................................NO CHARGE

The term passenger "vehicles" is more clearly defined as con-
ventional type automobiles and station wagons and does not include
"van type" vehicles.

All other vehicles at the rate of $4.00 per ton, tonnage to be based
on net weight as computed by landfill scales with a ¼ ton minimum.

[(b)] (c) The above rates shall not be applicable in those
instances in which the County is contractually obligated to provide a
sanitary landfill facility.

Section 2. And be it further enacted, That this Ordinance shall
take effect forty-five (45) days from the date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1-215 (e) (2) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel",
Article II, "Classified Service", and to add new Section 1-217 (a)
(155) to said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 1-217 (a) (154) thereof, to establish the new
position and pay grade of Assessor's Aide, and to set forth the
minimum standards therefor, and matters generally related thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland, That Section 1-215 (e) (2) of the Anne Arundel
County Code, (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1, "Adminis-
tration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
