pretation", the catchlines or section headings of the several sections
of this Ordinance are intended as mere catchwords to indicate the
contents of said section, and shall not be deemed or taken to be titles
of such sections, nor as any part of said section.
Section 3. And be it further enacted, That upon the adoption
of additional sections of this Subtitle, the Articles, Hearings, Sections
and Subsections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re-arranged
to establish an orderly numbering system for the entire Subtitle, and
cross references may be corrected (provided that no changes other
than typographical corrections may be made to the language or
substance thereof).
Section 4. And be it further enacted, That if any provisions of
this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circum-
stance is held invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not affect
the other provisions or any other application of this Ordinance which
can be given effect without the invalid provisions or application, and
to this end, all the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared
to be severable.
Section 5. And be it further enacted, That this Ordinance shall
take effect forty-five (45) days from the date it becomes law, only
to the extent that the provisions thereof affect the First Assessment
District TAKE EFFECT IN EACH TAX ASSESSMENT DIS-
TRICT, ON A DISTRICT BY DISTRICT BASIS, WHEN THE COM-
PREHENSIVE ZONING MAPS ARE ADOPTED AND BECOME
EFFECTIVE IN EACH OF SAID TAX ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
11-410A of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 11, "Health and Welfare", Subtitle 4, "Sani-
tary Landfills", revising the fees for disposal of wastes at County
owned and operated Sanitary Landfills and establishing fees for
the disposal of solid wastes at County owned and operated Sanitary
Landfills where weighing scales are available.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland, That Section 11-410A of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 11, "Health
and Welfare", Subtitle 4, "Sanitary Landfills", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Section 11-410 A.
(a) The following charges are hereby established for the dis-
posal of solid wastes at Anne Arundel County owned and operated
Sanitary Landfills where weighing scales are not available:
