Section 1-217.
(45) Data processing operations supervisor. Graduation from a
recognized high school, preferably completion of a two year com-
munity or junior college program or two years of college training;
[three] four years of experience in the operation of high speed
electronic computers and peripheral equipment [a comprehensive
clerical and records filing system for data processing, one year of
which must have been in a supervisory capacity]; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Section 2. And be it further enacted, That new Sections 1-217
(24A), 1-217 (42A), 1-217 (44A) and 1-217 (119A) be, and they are
hereby added to the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel",
Article II, "Classified Service", to follow immediately after Sections
1-217 (24), 1-217 (42), 1-217 (44) and 1-217 (119), respectively,
to read as follows:
Section 1-217.
(24A) Assistant Director of Administration. Graduation from
a university or college of recognized standing, with major work in
business or public administration or political science; master's degree
preferred. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible related
experience in business or public management, four (4) years of
which must have been directly involved in organizational planning,
budgeting and control activities; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.

(42A) Key Punch Supervisor. Graduation from a recognized
high school, preferably completion of a two-year Community or
Junior College program or two (2) years of college training; two
years of experience as a keypunch operator; or any equivalent com-
bination of education and experience.

(44A) Tape Librarian. Graduation from a recognized high
school and two (2) years experience in data processing with opera-
tions experience on tape or disk equipment; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.

(119A) Chief, Solid Waste Division. Graduation from a univer-
sity or college of recognized standing with major work in engineering
