The counsel to the board in Prince George's County shall receive
an annual salary of $4,500.00; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT
IN THE EVENT OF SPECIAL ELECTIONS OR SPECIAL SERV-
ICES RENDERED, THE BOARD MAY ALLOW SUCH ADDI-
TIONAL COMPENSATION AS IT DEEMS COMMENSURATE
WITH THE SPECIAL SERVICES RENDERED.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

(House Bill 1272)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 155(q)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replace-
ment Volume, 1971 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Boards of License Commissioners" to provide for at least
two meetings per month and for an increase in the annual salaries
of the members and attorney to the Board of License Commis-
sioners for Prince George's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 155(q) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume, 1971 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners" be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
155.
(q) Prince George's County.—In Prince George's County each of
the members of the board, except the Chairman thereof, shall receive
an annual salary of [($2,400.00)] $ 4,500.00 and the Chairman shall
receive an annual salary of [($3,200.00)] ($5,000.00). The board
shall meet at least two times per month. The administrator of the
board who shall be appointed by and serve at the will of the board
and who shall devote full time and attention to the duties of the
board shall receive an annual salary in no event to exceed ten thou-
sand dollars ($10,000.00); the attorney for the board shall receive
an annual salary of [five thousand six hundred dollars ($5,600.00)]
six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) and said attorney for the board
shall receive no other compensation or fees for the performance of
his duties or for services performed for or on behalf of the board
including representing the board in any appeal from rulings of the
board. The County [Commissioners] Council is authorized to appro-
priate and levy a sum sufficient to pay for all expenses of the Prince
George's County board of license Commissioners upon the submis-
sion of an annual budget. In such budget, the salary of the members
of the board shall be approved as hereinbefore set forth; all other
