Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 88(b) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted to read as follows:
88.
(b) The holder of any license issued under the provisions of
this article shall be permitted to exercise all of the privileges con-
ferred by such a license on the day of any municipal election in
any of the incorporated towns of Prince George's County or in
Caroline County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal Section 40(x) of Article 10 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law
and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's Attorney," and to enact
new Section 40(x) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the sec-
tion repealed, to provide that the County Commissioners of Wor-
cester County are to pay the expenses for the State's Attorney's
office in Worcester County, including secretarial and clerical serv-
ices; to authorize the State's Attorney of Worcester County to
appoint a Deputy State's Attorney and Assistant State's Attor-
neys; and generally relating to the salaries and duties of the
deputy and assistant State's Attorneys in Worcester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40(x) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact,"
subtitle "State's Attorney," be and it is hereby repealed and that
new Section 40(x) be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to
stand in the place of the section repealed and to read as follows:
[40. (x) In Worcester County, (1) the State's Attorney's
salary is eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00) to be paid in equal
monthly installments and the County Commissioners shall provide
him with suitable office space in the courthouse.
(2) The State's Attorney's allowance for clerical expenses is two
thousand dollars ($2,000.00) and his allowance for secretarial serv-
ices is four thousand dollars ($4,000.00). These are also to be paid
in equal monthly installments.
(3) Subject to the approval of the resident judge of the Circuit
Court, the State's Attorney may appoint a member of the bar of
Worcester County as deputy State's attorney, to serve at the pleasure
