SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9(77) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and
1971 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall
be Taxed and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(76)
thereof and to read as follows:

(77) Personal and real property owned by The Chesapeake Bay
Foundation, Inc.
(77) REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY WHICH IS
OWNED BY THE CHESAPEAKE BAY FOUNDATION, INC.
AND IS USED SOLELY FOR MAINTENANCE OF NATURAL
AREAS FOR PUBLIC USE, FOR SANCTUARIES FOR WILD-
LIFE, OR FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION OF THE
PUBLIC.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to add new Sections 1-108.1, 1-119.1, 1-125.1, and 1-130.1
to Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replace-
ment Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle
1 "Words and Phrases Defined," to follow immediately after Sec-
tions 1-119, 1-125, 1-130 and 1-108 respectively of subtitle 1
thereof; and to add a new subheading, "Part VII—Manufacturers,
Distributors, and Factory Branches," consisting of Sections 5-701
to 5-709, inclusive, to Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume) title "Vehicle Laws," sub-
title 5 "Licensing of Dealers, Wreckers, Scrap Processors and
Vehicle Salesmen"; and to change the title of subtitle 5 of Article
66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement
Volume and 1971 Supplement) to "Licensing of Dealers, Wreckers,
Scrap Processors, Vehicle Salesmen, Manufacturers, Distributors,
and Factory Branches"; to require persons who engage in the
business of manufacturer, distributor, or factory branch in Class
A or Class B vehicles in Maryland to be licensed by the Motor
Vehicle Administration; relating generally to the licensing of
manufacturers, distributors, and factory branches of certain mo-
tor vehicles; stating requirements for the cancellation of manufac-
turers' and dealers' franchises, and relating generally to the
business of manufacturers, distributors, or factory branches for
certain vehicles in the State of Maryland.
Whereas, the General Assembly finds and declares that the dis-
tribution and sale of Class A and Class B vehicles in the State of
