subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 112B thereof; and to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, subtitle "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish" of said Article and title; to specify the regu-
latory authority of the Director of the Fish and Wildlife Adminis-
tration; TO CREATE A COMMITTEE OF WATERMEN AND
SEAFOOD DEALERS OR PROCESSORS AND TO REQUIRE
THE DIRECTOR OF THE FISH AND WILDLIFE ADMINIS-
TRATION TO CONSULT WITH SAID COMMITTEE BEFORE
PROMULGATING REGULATIONS; to make said subtitle con-
sistent with the statutes codified under said subtitle; and to make
the short title consistent with the subtitle, and terminating said
authority on July 1, 1972.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 111 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments; that new Section 112C be and it
is hereby added to said Article, title and subtitle of said Code, to
follow immediately after Section 112B thereof; and that subtitle
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish" of said Article and title of
said Code, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and all to1 read as follows:
BIRDS, GAME AND [INLAND WATER] FISH

This subtitle shall be known and may be cited as "The Game [Law]
and [Game and Fresh Water] Fish Law."
112C.
(a) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article, the
Director of the Fish and Wildlife Administration is authorized,
AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE COMMITTEE CREATED
IN SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS SECTION AND subject to approval
by the Secretary of Natural Resources, to promulgate regulations
relating to the taking or catching, possession, sale, purchase, trans-
portation or export of any of the fish, shellfish, or other living natural
resources of the tidal waters of this State. Such regulations may
include, but not be limited to, provisions enlarging, extending, re-
stricting or prohibiting the taking or catching, possession, sale, pur-
chase, transportation or export of any of the fish, shellfish, or other
living natural resources of the tidal waters of this State. This author-
ity AND ANY REGULATION PROMULGATED UNDER IT shall
terminate July 1,1972.
(b) It shall be a misdemeanor to violate such regulation adopted
by the Director or any part thereof, and any person so convicted
of such violation shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars
($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and may be
sentenced to thirty (30) days in jail, either, or both, in the discretion
of the court or justice of the peace before whom said person shall be
tried.
(C) THE COMMITTEE OF WATERMEN AND SEAFOOD
DEALERS OF- OR PROCESSORS SHALL BE COMPOSED OF
ONE HOLDER OF A COMMERCIAL LICENSE TO TAKE FISH,
