Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 21(g) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
21.
(g) In Howard County there shall be two type Class D beer,
wine and liquor licenses. There shall be a seven-day license for which
the annual license fee is eight hundred dollars ($800.) and a six-day
license for which such fee is four hundred dollars ($400.). The Board
of License Commissioners of Howard County may, upon the renewal
of any Class D beer, wine and liquor licenses or upon the filing of an
application for any new Class D beer, wine and liquor license, limit
the sale of alcoholic beverages to consumption only on the premises.
The annual license fee for a limited Class D license shall be one thou-
sand dollars ($1,000.) for a seven day licence and five hundred dollars
($500.) for a six-day license SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS
($700.00) FOR A SEVEN-DAY LICENSE AND THREE HUN-
DRED DOLLARS ($300.00) FOR A SIX-DAY LICENSE.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 954)
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Dorchester County from time to time, to borrow not exceeding
Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000) in order to finance
the construction and development of public facilities, as herein
defined, and to effect such borrowing by the issuance and sale at
public or private sale of its general obligation bonds in like par
amount; empowering the County to fix and determine, by resolu-
tion, the form, tenor, interest rate or method of arriving at the
same, terms, including redemption and registration provisions,
conditions, maturities and all other details incident or necessary
to the issuance, sale and delivery of such bonds, without reference
to any other law heretofore enacted; prescribing the method and
manner of selling the bonds at public sale; empowering the County,
subject to certain limitations, to sell the bonds at, above or below
the par value thereof; empowering the County to refund any of
the bonds purchased or redeemed in advance of maturity; em-
powering the County to apply to the payment of principal and
interest of the bonds and refunding bonds any funds received
from the State of Maryland and the United States of America,
which may be properly allocable to said purpose; empowering and
directing the County to contract to levy and to levy, impose and
collect annually ad valorem taxes which, in addition to the State
and Federal allotments, if any, will provide funds sufficient for the
