the right to appeal from the judgment of said justice of the peace
to the circuit court for the county where the offense was committed
at any time within ten days after such judgment is rendered.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 150
(House Bill 451)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51(h i)
(H-L) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966
Replacement Volume) title "County Commissioners," subtitle
"County Treasurers," to provide the county treasurer of Wor-
cester County with an expense account.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51(h i) (H-L) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume) title "County Commissioners,"
subtitle "County Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments and to read as follows:
51.
(h i) (H-L) The county treasurer of Worcester County shall
receive an annual salary of $4,000.00[.] and an allowance of $600.00
per year for expenses incidental to his office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 11(a)(2)
and 11(a)(12) of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Supplement), title "Fees of Officers," subtitle "Bailiffs and
Criers," to increase the compensation for bailiffs in Worcester
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
