Section 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1-
217 (52), (60), (155) of said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article be, and they
are hereby repealed.

Section 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1-
217 (51), (53), (54), (55), (59), (156) and (157) of said Code, Title,
Subtitle and Article, be, and they are hereby repealed, and new Sections
1-217 (51), (53), (54), (55), (59), (156) and (157) are hereby enacted
in lieu of said sections, to stand in the place and stead of the sections
respectively repealed, to read as follows:

Section 1-217

(51) Combination Inspector—Graduation from a recognized high
school and three (3) years of experience in business, investigational or
public contact work; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.

(53)    Building Inspector I—Graduation from a recognized high school
and three (3) years of experience in building construction; or any equiva-
lent combination of education and experience.

(54)    Building Inspector II—Graduation from a recognized high
school and three (3) FIVE (5) years of experience in building inspection
or building construction; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.

(55)    Chief Building Inspector—Graduation from a college or uni-
versity of recognized standing with major work in engineering and four
(4) years of experience in professional engineering work, one (1) year
of which must have been in a responsible administrative or supervisory
capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

(59) Chief Electrical Inspector—Graduation from a recognized high
school and five (5) years of experience as a master electrician, preferably
some administrative or supervisory experience; or any equivalent combina-
tion of education and experience.

(156)    Animal Warden—Graduation from a recognized high school
and one (1) year of general work experience, possession of a valid Mary-
land Motor Vehicle Operator's License; or any equivalent combination
of education and experience.

(157)    Animal Control Supervisor—Graduation from a recognized
high school and three (3) years of experience as an animal warden;
or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Section 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1-217
(6A) and (46C) be, and they are hereby added to said Code, Title, Sub-
title and Article, to follow immediately after Sections 1-217 (6) and (46B),
respectively, to read as follows:

Section 1-217

(6A) Executive Secretary—Graduation from a recognized high school
and six (6) years of experience in responsible complex clerical work,
three (3) years of which must have been at the level of Secretary; or
any equivalent combination of education and experience.

(46C) Principal Programmer—Graduation from a university or col-
lege of recognized standing, preferably with specialization in business or
public administration, accounting, statistics, mathematics, or engineering;
