sanitary landfills where such acceptance is deemed detrimental to the best
interests of the County.

(b) The Director of Public Works shall keep a record of all rules,,
regulations, orders and directives issued by him, which records shall be
open to public inspection at all reasonable times.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that this Ordinance
is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, welfare and
property and being passed by the affirmative vote of five members of the
County Council, the same shall take effect from the date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
1-215 (a) (2), (d) (2) and (e) (2) of the Anne Arundel County
Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1, "Administration",
Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", respectively,
changing the salary grade for Meter Reader: and adding the new
positions of Fire Lieutenant (Training), Photographer, and GATE-
KEEPER AND Scale Man; and to add new Sections 1-217 (159) and
(160) to said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article, establishing the
minimum standards for Photographer and Scale Man.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Sections 1-215 (a) (2),
(d) (2) and (e) (2) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article
II, "Classified Service", be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
