An Act to repeal Chapter 81, Section 81-1, titled "County Vehicles,"
subtitled "Symbol," of the Montgomery County Code 1960, thereby
permitting the identification or marking of County vehicles to be
provided for in the administrative regulations of the County Execu-
tive; and further
An Act to amend Article IV, Sections 73-31 and 73-33, of Chapter
73 of the Montgomery County Code 1965, titled "County Vehicles,"
to provide that in addition to the storage, parking and use of County
vehicles being subject to administrative regulation of the County
Executive, the marking or identification and the designation of said
vehicles may also be governed by such administrative regulations of
the County Executive; and to further provide that the unauthorized
use or use of County vehicles for other than official County business is
prohibited.
Be It Enacted by the County Council for Montgomery County, Mary-
land, that—
Section 1. Chapter 81, Section 81-1, titled "County Vehicles," subtitled
"Symbol," of the Montgomery County Code 1960, be and is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Article IV, Sections 73-31 and 73-33 of Chapter 73, Mont-
gomery County Code 1965, are hereby amended to read as follows:
73-31. Storage, parking, markings or identification, designation and use
generally.
Storage, parking, markings or identification, designation and use of
County vehicles shall be provided for in the administrative regulations of
the County Executive; provided, that in accordance with Section 73-33 of
this Code, such vehicles shall be used only for official County business.
73-33. Unauthorized use or use for other than official business.
Unauthorized use or use of County vehicles for other than official
County business is prohibited.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on the 76th day following its
enactment.

County Code 1965, as amended, by repealing and re-enacting, with
amendments, Section 3-5, titled "Dogs and cats—Authority to adopt
ordinances regulating," Section 3-7, titled "Impounding dogs and other
animals—Authority to operate and construct pound," and Section 3-8,
titled "Same—Authority to enter into contracts as to removal, care
and disposition of impounded animals," and by repealing in its entirety
Section 3-6, titled "Same—Same—Procedure for adoption;" Chapter
