thence binding along part of the Fourteenth line and all of the Fifteenth,
Sixteenth and Seventeenth lines of said Second Parcel the four (4) follow-
ing courses and distances as now surveyed, viz: (1) South 89 degrees 11
minutes 14 seconds West 500.00 feet, (2) South 84 degrees 53 minutes 35
seconds West 16.50 feet to a stone found, (3) North 27 degrees 04 minutes
45 seconds East 1,432.60 feet and (4) South 70 degrees 05 minutes 50
seconds East 212.03 feet, thence binding along all of the Eighteenth (last)
line of said Second Parcel and continuing the same course binding re-
versely along all of the Sixth or South 18 degrees 26 minutes 06 seconds
East 1019.75 feet line of the First Parcel of the abovementioned deed as
now surveyed North 19 degrees 33 minutes 06 seconds East 1,860.69 feet
to a point on the centerline of a lane, thence binding along the centerline
of said lane being reversely along all of the Fifth line of said First Parcel
and continuing the same course reversely along part of the Seventh or
South 85 degrees 04 minutes 43 seconds West 444.33 feet line of the Third
Parcel of the abovementioned deed as now surveyed North 86 degrees 11
minutes 43 seconds East 450.00 feet to a point on the westernmost limits
of the town of Sykesville, thence binding along said westernmost limits
the two (2) following courses and distances as now surveyed, viz: (1)
South 26 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds West 2.883.30 feet and (2) South
19 degrees 49 minutes 00 seconds West 412.50 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 25.678 acres of land, more or less.

BEING that part of that land which by Deed dated November 15, 1966
and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll County, Maryland in Liber
C.C.C. 414 at Folio 578 was granted and conveyed by Springfield Apart-
ments, Inc., to 6401 Corporation and that part of that land which by Deed
dated February 1, 1965 and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll
County, Maryland in Liber C.C.C. 400 at Folio. 312 was granted and
conveyed by Springfield Apartments, Inc., to The Mayor and City Council
of Sykesville which lies outside the town limits of Sykesville.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the effec-
tive date of this Resolution all persons residing in the area to be annexed,
and the property therein, shall be and become residents of and property
within the Town of Sykesville subject to the provisions of the Charter of
the Town of Sykesville.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
and become effective on the forty-sixth (46th) day following its final
enactment.
