the Eighteenth (Last) line of said Second Parcel and continuing the same
course binding reversely along all of the Sixth or South 18° 26' 06" East
1019.75 feet line of the First Parcel of the abovementioned deed as now
surveyed

North 19° 33' 06" East 1,860.69 feet to a point on the centerline of a
lane, thence binding along the centerline of said lane being reversely along
all of the Fifth line of said First Parcel and continuing the same course
reversely along part of the Seventh or South 85° 04' 43" West 444.33 feet
line of the Third Parcel of the abovementioned deed as now surveyed

North 86° 11' 43" East 450.00 feet to a point on the westernmost limits
of the town of Sykesville, thence binding along said westernmost limits
the two (2) following courses and distances as now surveyed, viz:

(1)    South 26° 04' 00" West 2,883.30 feet and

(2)    South 19° 49' 00" West 412.50 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 25.678 acres of land more or less.

BEING that part of that land which by deed dated November 15, 1966
and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll County, Maryland in
Liber C.C.C. 414 at Folio 578 was granted and conveyed by Springfield
Apartments, Inc., to 6401 Corporation and that part of that land which
by deed dated February 1, 1965 and recorded among the Land Records of
Carroll County, Maryland in Liber C.C.C. 400 at Folio 312 was granted
and conveyed by Springfield Apartments, Inc., to The Mayor and City
Council of Sykesville which lies outside the town limits of Sykesville.

Resolution

Whereas a Petition has been presented to the Mayor and Council of
The Town of Sykesville to enlarge the corporate boundaries of said Town
by the annexation of a parcel of land contiguous to and adjoining the
existing corporate boundaries of said Town; and

Whereas the Mayor and Council have caused to be made a verification
of the signatures upon said Petition and have ascertained that the cor-
poration on behalf of which the Petition has been signed represents at
least twenty-five per cent (25%) of the assessed valuation of the real prop-
erty located in the area to be annexed, and at least twenty-five per cent
(25%) of the persons residing in the area to be annexed and who are
registered voters in county elections in the precinct in which the territory
to be annexed is located.

IT IS RESOLVED, THEREFORE, by the Mayor and Council of the
Town of Sykesville that the following described parcel of land shall be
annexed to the Town of Sykesville and be and become a part thereof:

BEGINNING for the same at a point on and distant 540. 55 feet from
the beginning of the Fourteenth or South 88 degrees 05 minutes 34 seconds
West 1040.55 feet line of the Second Parcel of that land which by Deed
dated November 15, 1966 and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll
County Maryland in Liber C.C.C. 414 at Folio 578 was granted and con-
