2042                                Municipal Charters

AMENDMENT NO. 6

36. Corporate Limits. The corporate and taxable limits of the town
of Boonsboro, in Washington County, Maryland, are declared to be as
follows:

BEGINNING at a point in the East marginal line of Main Street,
also known as U. S. Route 40 A. where the said East margin is intersected
by the North boundary of the property now or formerly owned by J. E.
Moss and running thence along said Moss line North fifty three degrees
thirty minutes East three hundred and fifty five feet; thence leaving the
said Moss property and running North twenty two degrees West one
thousand three hundred seventy feet thence North twenty two degrees
East one thousand eighty nine feet; thence North six degrees thirty
minutes East seven hundred ninety two feet, passing on the West side of
the residence now or formerly owned by Samuel Douglas; thence North
seventy two degrees West two hundred ninety six and seventy five hun-
dredths feet; thence parallel with the Wolfsville Road North twenty de-
grees fifty minutes East two hundred fifty three and one tenth feet;
thence North twenty degrees fifty minutes East one hundred fifty three
and six tenths feet, thence South eighty two degrees zero six minutes
East Twenty two and sixty six hundredths feet to a concrete monument,
thence North fourteen degrees twenty six minutes East two hundred and
thirty and fifty seven hundredths feet to a concrete monument, thence
North twenty degrees eighteen minutes East three hundred ninety two
and forty six hundredths feet, thence North 24 degrees zero six minutes
East five hundred twenty and eighty four hundredths feet to an existing
fence line, thence along same North seventy seven degrees zero seven
minutes West one hundred twenty five and no hundredths feet into the
Wolfsville Road, thence along or near the center thereof South thirty four
degrees thirty one minutes West one hundred twenty nine and twenty two
hundredths feet, thence leaving the Road and running back therefrom
South sixty eight degrees forty minutes West two hundred twenty four
and fourteen hundredths feet, thence North ten degrees ten minutes East
two hundred ninety seven and no hundredths feet to a post, thence North
sixty two degrees twenty three minutes West [seven hundred forty six
and sixty five hundredths feet to a post, thence South twenty degrees fifty
five minutes West nine hundred twenty five and four tenths feet to a post,
thence North eighty four degrees forty three minutes West four hundred
twelve and twenty two hundredths feet to a post, thence South three
degrees thirty four minutes West two hundred twenty nine and two
tenths feet to a concrete monument, thence South eighty degrees zero eight
minutes West one hundred seventy nine and nine tenths feet to intersect
the North twenty two degrees West one thousand ninety five foot line of
the original Corporate Boundary of Boonsboro, thence with part of the
same, North twenty two degrees West thirty nine and nineteen hun-
dredths feet, thence North twenty six degrees West one thousand three
hundred twenty six feet to a stake] one hundred six and three hundredths
feet to a post, thence North fifteen degrees seven minutes East one hundred
eighty five and seventy six hundredths feet to a post, thence South seventy
four degrees fifty three minutes West one hundred forty feet to the West
margin of the Old Boonsboro Road, thence along it North seventeen, de-
grees nineteen minutes East seven hundred thirty six and fifty five
hundredths feet thence leaving the Road and running back therefrom
North sixty two degrees thirty one minutes West two hundred fifty four
and twenty four hundredths feet to a post, thence North twenty six de-
grees fifty eight minutes East three hundred seventy nine and five tenths
