Section 104 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place of the section repealed, all to read as follows:

104.

[(a) In St. Mary's County, notwithstanding any other provision
of this article, it shall be unlawful for the establishment of any
licensee under this article (except the holder of a special Class D,
beer, or special Class D, beer, wine and liquor license) to be open
after 2 o'clock a.m. on the Sabbath Day, commonly called Sunday.

(b) In St. Mary's County, notwithstanding any other provision
of this article, the hours during which the establishment of any
licensee under this article may be open shall be from 6 o'clock a.m.
to 1 o'clock a.m., except Saturday night when the closing hour shall
be 2 o'clock a.m.]

In St. Mary's County, notwithstanding any other provision of this
article, the hours during which a liquor licensee may sell those alco-
holic beverages for which he is licensed shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to
2 o'clock a.m. the following morning, including Sunday. Consumption
of alcoholic beverages may continue on the premises of the establish-
ment for one-half hour following the termination of the hours of sale.
ONLY ON SUNDAY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 656
(Senate Bill 353)

AN ACT to add new Section 26A to Article 96A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1970 Supple-
ment), title "Water Resources," subtitle "Pollution Abatement,"
to follow immediately after Section 26 thereof, to provide that
persons TRANSFERRING, STORING, separating, removing,
treating, and disposing of oil and other unctuous substances, use
methods, facilities, STANDARDS and devices to be approved by
the DEPARTMENT OF Water Resources, Commission, to require
a certificate of approval PERMIT for the devices, and to provide
that the certificate requirements of this Act are not applicable as
to persons presently involved in such operations until July 1, 1972.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 26A be and it is hereby added to Article 96A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and
1970 Supplement), title "Water Resources," subtitle "Pollution
Abatement," to follow immediately after Section 26 thereof, and to
read as follows:

26A.

The DEPARTMENT OF Water Resources Commission shall pre-
scribe by regulation approved methods, facilities,
