(House Bill 1068)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11-101
(3) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume), title ''Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Rules of
the Road," subheading "Part I. Obedience to and Effect of Traffic
Laws," to include Caroline County within the provisions of Article
66½ Section 11-101(3), which enlarge the scope of the term
"public highway."
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 11-101(3) of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," sub-
title "Rules of the Road," subheading "Part I. Obedience to and
Effect of Traffic Laws," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
11-101.
(3) In Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil,
Charles, Frederick, Howard, Prince George's, Talbot and Washington
counties any person operating a motor vehicle on private property
which is used by the public in general in violation of the provisions
of this subtitle shall be deemed in violation of the law to the same
extent as if the motor vehicle were being operated on a public highway
and the violation carries the same penalty.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37 (b)
(3) 15A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume, 1970 Cumulative Supplement), title "Budget and Fiscal
Planning," subtitle "State Aid for Police Protection Fund," to
revise the provisions relating to minimum grants of State Aid
for Police Protection and relating generally to the program of
State Aid for Police Protection.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (b) (3) of Section 37 of Article 15A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, title "Budget and Fiscal Planning," subtitle
"State Aid for Police Protection Fund" be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
