78. all her Right of Dower to the Said Bargained Parcel of land to be the Right and Title of the said Patrick Duncan his Heirs and Assigns and declared She made such Acknowledgment of her own free Will without being Induced so to do by threats or Ill Usage of or from her said husband or through fear of his displeasure as Witness our Hands NRuxton Gay Will.m Aisquith September 8th 1763 Received of M.r Patrick Dunkan Four shillings and Nine Pence Sterling for the Use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within One hundred and Eighteen Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Said Lordships Agent & receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 8th September 1763 8 1/2 s.d Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of August in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred & Sixty three Between Daniel Clary of Frederick County Planter of the one Part; and Charles Hammond Jun.r of Ann.ll County Gent.n of the other Part Witnesseth that the Said Daniel for and in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty two Pounds Current Money to him in hand well and truly Paid by s.d Charles Hammond Junior before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and Confessed He the said Daniel hath Granted bargained and Sold conveyed and Confirmed and doth by these Presents Grant bargain & sell Convey and Confirm unto said Charles Hammond Jun.r his heirs and Assigns for ever the following Part or Parcel of Land being Part of a Tract of Land called Buck Bottom lying in Baltimore County and Originally in the Year seventeen hundred and Fifty one granted by Patent with s.d Daniel & his heirs as Reference thereunto being had may appear Beginning for the Bounds and Courses of said Part so sold as aforesaid at four bounded White Oaks sapplings standing near the head of a spring a Draft of Patapsco River and running thence North Seventy deg.s West Fifty Six Perches then South fifty degrees West One hundred Perches south forty seven degrees East forty Perches then thirty five degrees East fifty Perches South Seven degrees West Eighty Perches North fifty five and one half degree West forty Six Perches to the Beginning Trees of a tract of Land called Mobberly's Chance then bounding on the said Land & running North thirty degrees East forty Eight perches North forty deg.s West one hundred Perches south fifty two degrees West fifty two perches |
