       Whereof I have hereto set my Hand the Day & year above Written

Examined
       This Indenture made the Twenty first day of May in the Year of Our
       Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Henry
       Dorsey Gentleman of Ann Arundel County of the province of Maryland
       of the one part & the Honble John Tayloe & Presby Thornton Esq.rs of the
       Colony of Virginia on the other Part Witnesseth that the said Henry
       Dorsey for and in Consideration of the sum of twelve hundred pounds
       Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid before ensealing
       & Delivery of these presents the Receipt Whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
       & them the said John Tayloe & Presby Thornton their Heirs
       Executors & Administrators do clearly fully & Absolutely forever
       Acquit & discharge Hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed
       & Confirmed & by these Presents doth fully clearly & absolutely
       give grant Bargain sell Allien Enfeoff & Confirm unto the said
       John Tayloe & Presby Thornton Esq.rs their Heirs & Assigns forever
       all those two Several Tracts or parcells of Land according to their
       meets and bounds hereafter express'd lying & being situate on
       Elk Ridge in Annarundel County in the said Province of Maryland
       viz.t all that Tract or Parcel of Land called & known by the name of
       Dorsey's Angles which Tract of Land was originally taken up by
       Joshua Dorsey Father to the said Henry Dorsey Party to these presents
       as by Deeds from the Proprietors office bearing date the tenth
       day of June Seventeen hundred & thirty four may more fully appear
       Beginning on a branch of Potapsco River called deep [illegible] on or
       near the Center between three bounded White oaks and a bounded
       Poplar which said poplar being also the beginning tree of a Tract
       of Land called Timber Neck standing on the south side of a Run
       called middle run it being likewise the beginning tree of a Tract
       of Land called Batchelors Hall formerly surveyed for one John
       Medcalf & Running thence South nineteen & a half Degrees East
       Seventy three perches then South Seventy seven degrees East
       fifty two Perches then south thirty two degrees East forty
       eight perches thence South seventy Seven degrees East one hundred
       and three perches thence South twelve degrees West twenty
       six perches thence South sixty six degrees West Sixty Six
       Perches thence North Eighty Eight Degrees West forty Perches
       thence South twenty three & half degrees West thirty seven
       perches thence south Eighty four Degrees East forty Perches
