628 and declared by and between the said Parties to these presents That the said Common Recovery so as aforesaid or in any other manner had and suffered and the Execution thereof from and immediately after the Suffering the same or any other Recovery or Recoverys of the said mentioned premisses or any Part thereof was meant and intended to be and enure and is hereby declared to be and enure And that the Recoveror therein named and his heirs Should stand and be seised of and in the Recovered premisses and every Part and Parcell thereof to and for the only proper use and behooff of the said David Lindsey Ward and to and for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written sealed and delivered the Word Ward in the Ja Tilghman 3.d seal 15 line being first interlined & the words the Head in the 9.th Line as also the word David David Lindsey Ward seal in the 18.th Line in the presence of Sam.l Dorsey Jun.r Henry Banning On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t Received on the Day and year first within Written of and from the within named David Lindsey Ward the sum of five Shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say received by me Witness Ja Tilghman 3.d Sam.l Dorsey Jun.r On the Twelfth Day of September seventeen hundred and sixty five Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named James Tilghman the third & David Lindsey Ward and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing severally to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein specified to be the Right and Estate of the of him the said David Lindsey Ward according to the true Intent and meaning thereof 6 sides Geo Steuart Recorded 12.th September 1765 Ex.d This Indenture made the thirteenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between Joseph Joyce of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Planter one of the youngest sons of Thomas Joyce late of the County and Province aforesaid Planter deceased of the one part and Richard Henderson of Prince Georges County Merchant of the other Part Whereas the said Thomas Joyce deceased by his Testament and last Will in Writing duly executed proved and recorded in the Prerogative Office at Annapolis bearing date on or (about) |
