as well thought & spoke of if I had done it as now but I have this satisfaction
to my self that I have nothing on my Conferance of that sort but have
been treated in a Cruel & barbarous manner by some of the Worthy Family
which is all the return I have got for unjustly loosing my Character & spending
my Young days & prejiducing my health by nursing  I have been in this
Isle six years in which time I never met with any one from maryland but
I made it my business to enquire after you but never was so happy as to meet
with any one that knew you so that I imagined you had left the place
M.r Glasse wrote to you about four years since acquainting you that your
Uncle Edw.d had y.e management of your Fathers Effects (which I suppose
you applyd for Cannon Hill Farm which I think is yours as you B.r ^is^ in orders)
the Jessuits woud get hold of it which I think woud be a great Pitty
as they have Enough with him without that it gives me I assure you
a great satisfaction & pleasure to hear you are in so succesfull away &
shall always be glad to hear of your welfare when it suits you to favour
me with a Line four your own sake (without flattery for I hate it) as for his
who if it had pleasd God to have let him have lived woud never have suffered
his relations to have used me so ill as they have done but it is past & God
forgive them I am I thank God very happy in a kind Husband & have just
your number of little ones liveing M.r Glass desires his best Respects to you
& Kitty & begs you will let him know if you Ever had put in your Claim to
the Farm & which when you do if thereby any thing he can be of service to you
in the affair, he will with a great deal of pleasure I am with &C &C

       Dear sir)
Yours of Oct.b Last I received ^about^ a fortnight ago & Should have
answerd it directly had I not been greatly indisposed I thank God I am
now much better, I am still in the Isle of man & have no hopes at present
of Leaving it, As my Husband has been gon from me about a twelve
month & I never since heard from, or of him so that I cant tell what
part of the world he is in, or whether dead or alive, as for his Relations
they are like the Generallity of the world after ruining me dont think
it worth their while to corrispond with me, so that I may say that
I & my poor Children are left to God, & the Wide World my D.r sir
I cant say any more in regard to your affair then what I have Said
before viz that all Deeds books, & papers of Every king belonging to
your Father were by Lord Chancellors orders delivered to your Uncle
                                                                                                    Edward
