          I John Smith do Swear that I will not for Lucre or Malice delay any
       Person or Persons Applying to me for any Buisiness ^belonging to^ in the Office I Offic^i^ate
       In And that I will not Directly or Indirectly Ask Demand Take or receive
       from or Charge to any such Person or Persons to my own Use (except my
       Sallary from my Principal) any Fee or reward Whatsoever for any Service
       I shall do as Clerk of the said Office And Also that in making out the Office
       Fees I will not Wittingly or Willingly Charge other or higher Fees than Limitted
       by An ^the^ Act for Amending the Staple of Tobacco for Preventing
       Frauds in his Majestys Customs and for Limitation of Officers
       Fees

       Delany any Person or Persons Applying to you for any Buisiness belonging
       to the Office you Officiate in and that you will Directly or Indirectly
       Ask Demand take or Receive from or Charge to any such Person or Persons to
       your own Use (except your Sallary from your Principal) any Fee or Reward
       Whatsoever for any Service you shall do as Clerk of the said Office and also
       that in making out the Office Fees you ^will not^ Wittingly or Willingly Charge other
       or higher Fees than Limitted by the Act entituled An Act for Amending the Staple
       of Tobacco for Preventing Frauds in his Majestys Customs and for
       Limitation of Officers Fees            So help you God Sworn before Me this

       Register of the Prerogative Office and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of
       Almighty God that he will not for Lucre or Malice Delay any Person or
