       hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written

                 James + Wardrop                        John + Buchanan

                                              Sealed and delivered by the within named James Wardrop and
       John Buchanan being first duly stamped in the Presence of Us
                                                                               John Campbell
                      Ex.d                                                  W.m Hippisley

                            This Indenture made the first day of August in the Twenty Eigth
       Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain
       France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth   And in the Year of our Lord
       One Thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between James Wardrop of the Province of
       Maryland in America Merchant but at Present resident in the City of London in the
       Kingdom of Great Britain of the one Part and John Buchanan of the said City of London
       Merchant of the other Part   Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum
       of Five shillings of Lawfull Money of Great Britain to the said James Wardrop in hand paid
       by the said John Buchanan at or before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the
       Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged by the said James Wardrop   He the said James Wardrop
       Hath Bargained and sold and by these Presents Doth Bargain and sell unto the said
       John Buchanan All that one full and Equal undivided fourth part or share of him the
       said James Wardrop (the whole into four equal parts or shares to be divided) of and in all
       those several Tracts or parcels of Land Hereditaments and Premises situate lying and
       being in Baltimore County in the said Province of Maryland formerly Purchased by
       Alexander Lawson of the said Province of Maryland Merch.s James Russell now of
       the City of London Merchant James Johnson of the City of Glasgow in North Britain
       Merchant and the said James Wardrop of or from Daniel Dulany late of  Maryland
       aforesaid Merchant and other Persons there and now held by them the said Alexander
       Lawson James Russell James
