109. Dwelling House where Charles Homewood did live and in a Bite almost at the head of Said Cove The Middle of the house that fronts the Water bears from the Said Stone North Twenty Seven Degrees forty five Minutes West Then running from the said stone a Cross Homewoods lott with a line drawn North Twenty five degrees East Three hundred and Seventy three Perches to another Locust Post bounded with four Notches and markt 1734 heretofore Planted in the very Spot where the original Markt Chesnut mentioned in the Patent that was granted for Homewoods Lott in sixteen hundred and sixty three & referred to in the Patent granted seventeen hundred and thirty five did stand and close to which Said Post standing near the head of a branch of Maggody Creek there is now fixed a stone whereon are graven these Words "The End of HS and IH dividg Line also a Bound.y of Homewoods Lott" then from the said Locus Post so markd with four Notches or last mentioned stone running South Seventy Six degrees East Seventy Perches and three quarters of a Perch (such being the true Course and Distance tho it is different from the Course and distance mentioned in the Patent for Homewoods Lott granted in seventeen hundred and thirty five) to a stone whereon are graven these Words "Here stood Jn.o Homewoods Pockicory" now fixed in the very spot where the Original bounded Pockicory mentioned in the Patent that was granted for Homewoods Lott in sixteen hundred and sixty three and referred to in the Patent granted Seventeen hundred and thirty five did stand The said Pockicory being fallen down and almost decayd Then from the said stone markt as aforesaid running agreeable to the Courses mentioned in the Certificate of Resurvey of Homewoods Lott pattented in seventeen hundred and thirty five and according to the Location and Expressions thereof the Several following Courses Viz South West Twenty two Perches To Intersect the Line of Pettibones Land thence with the Said Land South East and by East Ninety two Perches to a Branch leading into Burles Branch thence Bounding on the said Branch running down these Nine Courses following that is south seventy degrees East ten perches south fifty degrees East thirty two Perches South sixty degrees East Eighteen Perches North Eighty Eight degrees East fourteen Perches south Seventy five degrees East fourteen Perches North Seventy Nine degrees East thirteen Perches and a half Perch North twenty degrees East Ten Perches North Eighty two Degrees East twelve Perches North Eighty five |
