1. Exam.d This Indenture Tripartite made this sixth day of May seventeen hundred and sixty three Between John Hesselius of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman and Mary his Wife (late Mary Woodward Widow) Executrix of the Testament and last will of Henry Woodward late of the County aforesaid Gentleman deceased of the first part Rebecca Young of the County and Province aforesaid Widow of the second Part and Charles Homewood of the County and Province aforesaid Gentleman of the third part Whereas by Indenture of Mortgage duly Executed Acknowledged & recorded in the provincial Land Records bearing date on or about the fourt day of October seventeen hundred and sixty made or mentioned to be made between the aforesaid Charles Homewood by the Name and Addition of Charles Homewood of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one part and the said Henry Woodward in his Life Time by the Name and Addition of Henry Woodward of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the other Part the said Charles Homewood for the Consideration of Two Thousand forty four pounds and Eight pence sterling Money in the said Indenture mentioned did give grant Bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Henry Woodward his Heirs and Assign All those several following Tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in Ann Arundel County aforesaid that is to say All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Homewood's Lott Containing thirteen hundred and Ninety Two Acres of Land all that part of a Tract of Land Called Mill Town alias Young Richard containing six Acres granted William Cumming Esquire for forty six acres All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Henrietta Maria's Care for Mary Chew containing Eight and a half Acres of Land granted Charles Homewood All that part of Homewoods Chance and Blays Neck containing Ten Acres Homewoods Chance granted John Homewood Esquire for three hundred Acres and Blays Neck granted Edward Blay for two hundred acres All that part of a Tract or Parcell of Land called Scotland containing two hundred Acres granted Major Richard Ewen for six hundred Acres All that part of a Tract of Land Called Leonard's Neck containing One hundred and Ninety Acres granted Henry Woolchurch for two hundred and Ninety Acres All that Tract or Parcell of Land called Alcotts Tryangle granted Samuel Alcott for seventy one acres All that Tract or parcel of Land called Hogg Neck alias Davis his Lott granted to William Davis for seventy Acres All that Tract or Parcell of Land called Bennetts Park containing Eighty one Acres granted to John Bennett Esquire And all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Charles Homewood |
