                On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorst Viz.t

       1757 March the 21.st Then received of Charles Carroll Junior the Sum of
       five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned
          Witness

       1757 March the Twenty first Then Came before me the subscriber one
       of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland
       Charles Carroll Esq.r party ^to^ the within Deed and Acknowledged
       the Same According to the Act of Assembly in Such Case made
       and Provided
                                                                            Geo Steuart

       Received of M.r Charles Carroll Jun.r Twelve Pounds fourteen shillings
       and Eleven pence sterling for his Lordships use (it being the
11 sides
        Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Lands (by virtue of a
        Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent
        and Rece^i^ver General                        Rich.d Dorsey

        Recorded May 17.th 1757
