       and be Answerable for in Virtue of the Same Act at Such times
       as by the said Act is directed according to the True Intent and
       meaning thereof then the above Obligation to be Void and of no
       Effect otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue

       By this Publick Instrument of Procuration or Letter or
       Attorney be it Known That on the twenty fourth Day of May
       in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & Fifty
       Six Before me Abraham Ogier Notary Publick dwelling in
       London duly Admitted and Sworn and in the Presence of the
       Witnesses hereafter named Personally Appeared M.rs Mary Holmes
       of Newington Butts in the County of Surry Widow Who
       Declared to have made ordained Constituted and appointed
       and by these Presents Doth Macke Ordain Constitute and
       appoint M.r William Woodward of Annapolis in the Province
       of Maryland Gentleman her true and lawfull Attorney Giving
       and hereby Granting unto her said Attorney full Power and
       lawfull Authority for her the said Constituent in her Name and
       to her use to grant bargain sell assign Enfeoff Release convey
       and confirm unto such Person or Persons and for such Price and
       Considerations and upon such Terms and Conditions as her
       said Attorney shall think proper all and every part and Share
       whatsoever of her the said Constituent of and in any Lands
       Plantations Tenements Heriditaments Negroes Slaves Cattle and
       Estate whatsoever lying situate and being in the Province of
       Maryland in America, to receive the Price and Money arising
       by such Sale and to give one or more Acquittances or other
       sufficient Discharges for the same also to give unto the
