399) or Administrators which they now have or ever may have had by or in Consequence of the Said Mortgage Do for ever release and quit Claim of the afsd Mortgage unto the Said John Watson his Heirs Executors and Administrators by these Presents in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 18th day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Nine Signed Sealed and delivered R.d Henderson seal in the Presence of Agent for John Glassford & Company On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus written to wit Maryland April 18 1759 The within Release acknowledged according to Act of Assembly before 2 1/2 Jn.o Brice Recorded 18.th April 1759 X.d Know all Men by these Presents that Whereas Joseph Ensor of L S Baltimore County Merchant did on the Twenty Sixth day of March One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Six Mortgage to me Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Barrister my Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns a Certain Lott of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging Scituate and being in a Town called and known by the Name of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County aforesaid number Sixty four for the Sum of Seventy pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain which Deed is recorded in Liber E I Number twelve among the Provincial Records of the Province of Maryland with Certain conditions therein Mentioned that upon Payment of the Said Sum the said Deed of Mortgage with every Article therein Contained should be null and void Now Know Ye that I the said Charles Carroll have received of the said Joseph Ensor the Said Sum of Seventy pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain with the Legal Interest thereon to the date hereof (being) |
