       of five Shillings of Lawful Money of England to him in hand
       paid by the said Thomas Lane Weems at or before the Ensealing
       and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       Hath given granted released and Confirmed and by these
       presents doth give grant release and Confirm unto the said Thomas
       Lane Weems All that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land called
       Wells lying and being in Ann Arundel County Containing six
       hundred acres Also all that Tract or parcel of Plantable Land called
       Wells Hills lying and being in the County aforesaid containing
       four hundred and Twenty Acres Also all that Tract or Parcel of
       Plantable Land called West Wells lying and being in the County
       aforesaid Containing three hundred and fifty acres Also all
       that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land called little Wells lying
       and being in the County aforesaid containing one hundred acres
       Also all that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land ^called^ little Beginning
       lying and being in the County aforesaid containing nineteen
       Acres And also all that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land
       called Pascaals Purchase lying and being in the County afsd
       Containing two hundred and thirty Six Acres late in the
       Tenure or Occupation of the said Samuel Chew (but now
       all in the Actual Possession of the Said Thomas Lane Weems by
       Force of an Indenture of Bargain and Sale thereof made bearing
       Date the Day before the Date of these Presents and of the Statute
       for Transferring ^of^ Uses into Possession being) To have and to
       Hold all and Singular the Said Several Tracts or Parcels of
       Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby given
       granted released and Confirmed or Mentioned or intended to be
       hereby given granted released and Confirmed unto the said Thomas
       Lane Weems and his Assigns for and during the natural life
