       Displeasure         Acknowledged before me this 3.d day of August 1758

       Be it Remembered that upon the Twenty Seventh day of September
       Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and fifty eight the within
       named Henry Darnall and James Tilghman the Subscribing
       Witnesses to this Deed made Oath on the Holy Evangels of
       Almighty   that on the Twenty Sixth day of July now last past
       they Saw the within Philip Thomas Sign and Seal the same
       Deed and deliver the same to the Uses therein Mentioned
       Before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court

       Received of M.rs Henrietta Maria Dulany Three Pounds eight
       Shillings and three Pence half penny Sterling for his Lordships
       Use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned
       Lands) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his
       Lordships Agent and Receiver General

Ex.d   This Indenture made the first Day of August in the Year
       of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty eight Between
       Samuel Chew of Wells of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the One
       Part and Thomas Lane Weems of Ann Arundel County Gentleman
       of the Other Part Witnesseth That the Said Samuel Chew for and in
       Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Lawful Money of England
       to him in Hand paid by the Said Thomas Lane Weems
