307) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit Received the Day and Year first within mentioned of and from the within named George Simmons the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being in full for the Consideration Money therein Mentioned 0 5 0 St to be by him paid to me Witness R Alexander W.m Matthews Sam.l Wilson 6 sides Recorded 25.th Sep.r 1758 Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made the Sixth day of June in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty eight Between William Matthews of Ann Arundel County Planter and Ann his Wife of the first part George Simmons of Ann Arundel County Planter of the second part and Charles Wallace of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the third part Witnesseth that the said William Matthews and Ann his Wife for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and forty five pounds ten Shillings Sterling Money to them in Hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and thereof and therefrom and of and from every Part thereof they the said William Mathews and Ann his Wife do hereby Acquit and discharge him the said George Simmonds his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns Have and each of them Hath Granted bargained Sold released enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain sell release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the Said George Simmonds (in his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a bargain and Sale to him thereof made by the said William (Matthews) |
